6-Session Programme
This isn't a group class where your dog gets distracted and you go home with a handout. Every session is tailored to your dog's specific behaviour, your handling style, and the real-world environments you actually walk in.

Initial Assessment
Mick observes how you and your dog interact, identifies the root cause of the pulling, and builds a training plan specific to your dog's temperament and your lifestyle.
Foundation Sessions

Mick Garner has spent 15 years working with guarding and working breeds in the protection dog sector — training dogs for VIPs who needed a reliable, obedient animal in high-pressure environments. That background means he understands working-breed drives, temperaments, and the kind of communication these dogs actually respond to.
A few years ago, Mick shifted his focus to pet dog owners across Kent. Not because the protection work wasn't rewarding — but because he kept seeing the same thing: intelligent, capable dogs being written off by their owners, having already been through trainers who couldn't help them. Dogs that weren't broken. Just misunderstood.
Mick's goal is simple. He wants every dog to have the freedom that good behaviour brings — and every owner to actually enjoy their dog. He's built a training club in Ashford where the dogs and their owners look forward to coming, where no behaviour is too tough, and where the door is always open to anyone willing to put in the work.
